| T / 4 | Individual Tree | Holm Oak | Felled | 0 | 0 | 29/11/2012 | 08/08/00253 Consent to crown lift and reduce lateral branches overhanging garden of 7 Priory Court by a maximum 2m (overhanging the boundary wall of No 6 Priory Court) and one lateral overhanging the boundary wall of No 8 Priory Court from 1No Holm Oak (T4). The tree surgeon is also to re-shape/reduce the crown by a maximum of 1m, this is only minor works requiring cuts with secateurs and no removal of any structural branches granted 23/01/2009 26/03/2013: Alleged unauthorised works to T4 located in rear garden of 8 Priory Court. JB contacted by neighbours, Mr Freeman and Ms Crockford at No. 7. They are concerned that unauthorised pruning works have recently been carried out by A Williams (Tree & Garden Services) on behalf of the owner Mr S Roland. Site visit carried out by JB & PB (planning enforcement) viewed the tree and the recent pruning work. JB confirmed no application/consent to undertake the pruning works has been received/issued. Should the landowner have applies for these works then consent would not have been granted to undertake pruning on one side only as this is not good arborcultural practice. 01/10/2020 - T4 Holm Oak - Fell due to the tree being at risk of failing due to the extensive decay in the base of the tree. JB recommends that the owner of tree and the contractor are cautioned and that the landowner is requested to appoint a professionally qualified tree surgeon to submit an application to re-balance the tree in accordance with BS3998:2010 (Recomendation for tree works). 08/13/00084 Consent to remove 2 lowest laterals from left hand stem growing towards back boundary and reduce remaining limbs on stem by 2m. Remove lowest 5 limbs growing towards neighbour (No 7) in order to correct canopy shape and address windsail and weight distribution of tree (T4) granted 31/05/2013 08/18/00208 Consent to reduce exended weighted laterals by 4m granted 16/11/2018 |
