|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A / 1 | Area | Various | Semi Mature | 0 | 0 | 29/04/2010 | This line of youg ash trees form a prominent windbreak/screen and have high amenity value. Predominately Ash & Hawthorn intermingle, none of the trees have been pruned in recent times. No sign of significant decay. One mature Ash adjacent to Robins Lane encroaches slightly into overhead cables. The trees are ''''under threat'''' from new landowner who has recently purchased the field to the north of this line of trees and has cut down a number of trees in the area as he is cultivating the field and the trees shade the crops. 55/10/00010 consent to remove 2 lower limbs off roadside mature Ash- 1No. branch to alleviate conflict with overhead cable and 1No lower branch overhanging into adjacent field. Fell 15 Ash Saplings, and 3 Blackthorn. Reduce overhanging canopy of all remaining trees back to ditch line. Coppice elder and hawthorn along north side of ditch all within A1, trees to be removed marked with white paint on site. To enable ditch to be cleaned/redug to reduce shading to crop in adjacent field. granted 16/12/2010 |
