Subject: Lost Chestnut Tree At Chestnuts, Wells Way, Blackford 4th December 2006 Confirming our telephone conversation, we sadly lost one of our chestnut trees in the storm on Saturday night. There are TPOs on both these trees. Attached are some photos showing the tree down and also a couple of other trees that were planted more recently and will probably grow a bit quicker now. As discussed I feel that the remaining chestnut will in fact benefit as it will now be able to grow out in the direction of the road and take on a better shape. I would appreciate it if you could just confirm that you have updated your records and also that you are happy for me to remove the remaining main bulk of the tree next weekend. Many thanks John Woods |
