No significant signs of decay or die-back within the crown. Tree is publicly visible not only from Plud Street but also adjacent public right of way. 50/19/00122 - Crown Lift (T1) Sycamore to a height of 3 metres from ground level. - 02/12/2019 50/20/00012 - Sycamore (T1) Crown raise to 6m above ground level from the base of tree. (26/03/2020) Email from landowner of Tanglewood 10/12/2024 to notify damage was caused to the Sycamore T1 during the recent storm. A site visit will be carried out in due course to inspect the damage. Email from The Roots Company 04/03/2025 to request a 5-day notice to remove the protected Sycamore due to its poor condition following a recent storm. Consent granted 04/03/2025 to undertake these works under health and safety grounds. Therefore a formal application was not required in this instance.The tree is due to be removed on 24/03/2025. A replacement tree has been requested to be planted in the next planting season after its removal. |
