Advised to see what remedial works are required to make it safe and submit a planning application. Email rec''''''''d from Mark Fiddes Treeworks Ltd 15/01/2024 to request a 5 day notifcation to carry out emergency works to remove four lower limbs and the snapped limb from Goat Willow (T2) to lessen the strain on the main trunk. He has advised the lower trunk is riddled with cavities and cracks. One large limb has already snapped out and leaning on concrete fence post following the storm in November 2023. Consent granted 16/01/2024 to carry out above works under 5 notifcation therefore no formal application was required in this instance. Email rec''d from Mark Fiddes Treeworks Ltd 22/01/2024 to advise that the Goat Willow (T2) is in significant decline since his previous site visit and request to remove the tree under 5 day notification.
