Owner is concerned that land to the south may be developed. The upper canopy is visible from Barrows Park & Barrows Croft. This is an unusual variety of oak tree, the landowner has advised that it is a Newfoundland Oak. The tree is in good conditionwith no obvious signs of decay or recent pruning works should the land be developed on land to the south then the tree will provide a good screen (scored 77). 17/17/00020 Consent for Oak (T1) crown lift overhanging branches to boundary Beech (T2) crown lift major low hanging branches reducing limbs to boundary (see photos) refused 23/05/2017 17/17/00057 - Consent granted Oak (T1) reduce lateral growth overhanging garden of Easedale by 2-3m max to good growing points.
