As such it can be removed without making a formal application to the Council. The TPO regulations require that a replacement tree is planted. The next planting season commences November through to March. As space is relatively limited a replacement hawthorn (Crateagus monogyna or Crateagus Paul’s Scarlet) would be appropriate species. Landowners to advise accordingly.
