Tarmac footpath adjacent to tree and canopy extends to north elevation of existing building (to be demolished). Boundary brick wall to the north does not appear to be affected by tree. Tree is publicly visible and has high amenity value. The agent Mrs T Hammick has submitted drainage engineers report that the roots of the beech tree have encroached into the drains (foul water) which also serve the neighbouring property. As it is not possible to repair the drain without removing the tree it has been agreed that the Order should not be confirmed. |
