Extension would be to a terraced house and extend 5 metres beyond the rear wall of the original house; the extension would abut the boundary and would be 3.34 metres in height at the eaves and the proposed use of render with engineering brick plinth and the materials proposed for the flat roof do not have a similar appearance to the existing house. As such, the proposed single-storey rear extension would not meet the requirements set out under Schedule 2, Part 1, Class A, A.1 (f) & (i) and condition A.3 (a) of the Town & Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as amended).
