The changes in the design with the increase in size and ridge height together with the use of tile for the roofing materials are considered to materially alter the character of the buildings or the impact of the approved scheme on the character of the surrounding area or may have a material impact on the privacy or amenity of any adjoining occupants.  As such the changes cannot be considered acceptable as a non-material alteration to the approved scheme. A Section 73 application needs to be submitted to the Local Planning Authority for consideration.
