The proposed alterations include a projection to the front of the property, at the time of the original application this was an element that was removed over concerns of having a negative impact on 16 Webbers Way by blocking light to a main room. Whilst the proposal isn't a block addition, and is defined as a canopy, there is still a concern that this addition will have a negative impact on the neighbouring occupiers. Whilst the rear addition of 0.5m is within the allowed alteration measures, the front projection increases by approximately 0.6m as such is not allowed under a non-material amendment application. It is noted that the permitted development rights were removed when the original permission for the dwelling (42/09/0007) was granted as such this addition would constitute works that would require an application for planning permission. As such the non-material amendment is refused.
