Any nesting birds discovered will be buffered by an exclusion zone determined by the ecologist which will remain in force until the chicks have fledged. Reason: The ecological report states that there is evidence of nesting birds on the site both on buildings and within trees. Nesting birds are afforded protection under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (as amended) and so the development must not result in harm to nesting birds.
