An application for a certificate of lawful existing use has been submitted. This seeks to establish that the land edged in red has been used without interruption for the siting of a caravan for residential use for a period in excess of 10 years and that the period for enforcement action has therefore passed. Enforcement action has been taken and an Enforcement Notice took effect against such use in 27 September 2015. No appeal was lodged against that notice and there remains ongoing enforcement proceedings to ensure compliance with the requirements of the notice. A certificate for the use cannot therefore be granted.
