Works as specified in this application shall be carried out within 2 years from the date this consent is authorised. Reason: To accord with the guidance contained within the DETR, Tree Preservation Orders : A guide to the Law and Good Practice.

All tree works shall be in accordance with BS3998:2010 (Recommendation for tree works). Reason: In the interests of good arboricultural practice.

If works are programmed to take place within the main bird nesting season (March to September inclusive) then a survey should be undertaken by a qualified ecologist and submitted to the LPA immediately prior to commencement. If evidence of nesting birds is found then works must not take place until the chicks have fledged, to be verified by the ecologist. Reason: In the interests of biodiversity and in order to safeguard protected species.

2No. selected standard silver birch trees are to be planted as detailed on the submitted plan. Planting is to be carried out in the first planting season following the removal of the ash tree. Should the trees fail they shall be replaced and maintained until they are established. Reason: To maintain the amenity and biodiversity of the locality.
