The proposed changes will take place to the existing gable end (South elevation), proposed porch and between the new and existing rear roofs only. The scale of the changes are very minor in scale and visually the extension and proposed works will appear very similar to that approved. The omission of the parapet wall is not considered to have any visual impact on the character of the property or the area and will not result in any harm to neighbouring properties. The proposed amendment is considered to improve the appearance as it will result in both gable ends of the dwelling to be of the same material finish.
