The proposed removal of six visitor parking spaces would materially reduce the level of visitor parking approved as part of the development, contrary to Policy D14 of the Sedgemoor Local Plan and the Somerset Parking Strategy (2013). The amendment would have implications for the acceptability of the approved scheme and therefore does not constitute a non-material amendment within the meaning of Section 96A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
