Proposal:
Reduce spread of 1No. Scots Pine (T1) (TPO Ref T1) on eastern side by up to 2m leaving the tree approx. spread of 5m, remove deadwood and install fabric brace between co-dominant stems approx. 3-4 distance from ground level. Crown reduce height of 1No. Sycamore (T2) (TPO Ref T2) by up to 1m and spread by up to 2m leaving the tree approx. crown height of 11m and spread of 5-6m, remove deadwood and hung up branches. Remove 1No. Ash (T4) (TPO Ref T4) to leave 4m stump. Crown reduce height of 1No. Sycamore (T5) (TPO Ref T5) by up to 2m and spread between 1m-4m leaving the tree approx. crown height of 11m and spread of 5-7m, remove squirrel damaged branches, remove primary branch crossing over with primary branch in neighbouring pine tree on southern side, remove hung up branches and deadwood. Remove deadwood from 2No. Corsican Pine (T6 & T8) (TPO Ref T6 & T8). Reduce lateral branches of 1No. Corsican Pine (T7) (TPO Ref T7) on eastern side by up to 3m leaving the tree approx. spread of 8m and remove deadwood.

Works as specified in this application shall be carried out within 2 years from the date this consent is authorised. Reason: To accord with the guidance contained in the National Planning Practice Guidance Tree Preservation Orders and trees in conservation areas.

All tree works shall be in accordance with BS3998:2010 (Recommendation for tree works). Reason: In the interests of good arboricultural practice.

A replacement tree shall be planted in the first planting season following the removal of T4. The tree should be a broadleaved species but the exact species and location to be agreed in writing with the local planning authority. Once planted, the replacement tree shall be protected and maintained, and any which, within a period of five years from the completion of the planting, die, are removed or become seriously damaged or diseased, shall be replaced in the following planting season with the same size and species. Reason: To maintain tree cover and the amenity and biodiversity value of the local area.
