Insufficient information has been provided to confirm that the buildings and workshop have been in use for Light Industrial/Office and Storage and Distribution (B1 & B8 Use Class) purposes continuously and for a period of time exceeding ten years preceeding the date of the application. Insufficient information has therefore been submitted to confirm that the development is lawful in accordance with Section 191 (2) (a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and would therefore require the benefit of a planning application. In addition, the present use of the site is not considered to fall within Use Classes B1 and B8 of the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes Order) 1987 (as amended) and a Certificate of Lawfulness cannot be issued for an existing use of the site that is not taking place at the time of the application.
