This Committee's key focus is the scrutiny of service delivery and community issues.
Corporate Scrutiny
This Committee's key focus is the scrutiny of strategic business and processes within the Council.
Delegated Decisions
These are decisions taken in accordance with the Council's Scheme of Delegation.
Development
The Development Committee consider and make recommendations on planning applications, applications for display of advertisements, listed building consent and tree preservation orders.
Executive
The Executive is the decision making body with the Council's structures to take a range of decisions set out in the Constitution and is chaired by the Leader of Council.
Full Council
The principal role of Full Council is to agree the Constitution; agree the budget and a number of specific policies and plans and exercise community leadership.
Grants Award
The sub-committee is responsible for awarding project and amenity grants and reviewing performance against all Service Level Agreements issued with grants.
Joint Overview & Scrutiny
This is a joint meeting of the two Scrutiny Committee's which considers the Executive budget proposals.
Licensing & General Purposes
This committee is responsible for dealing with a range of licensing applications, including those for the sale/supply of alcohol, hackney carriages and private hire vehicle and the register of food premises.
Licensing Panel
This Committee deals with all licensing applications.
Property Investment
This Committee deals with investment decisions in accordance with the Commercial Property Investment Strategy.
Tree Preservation Order
This Committee deals with objections to the making of Tree Preservation Orders.

The Committee deals with the adoption and revision of the Code of Conduct, revisions of the Constitution, overview of the Whistle Blowing policy and the Council's protocols in for District Council member/officer relations and Gifts and Hospitality.
